Refund Policy
If any ThriveFinity paid output contains an unsupported claim or factual error, we will refund you in full. No friction.
If it’s wrong, you don’t pay.
If any ThriveFinity paid output contains an unsupported claim or factual error, we will refund you in full within 5 business days. No friction.
The 30-day guarantee
THRIVEFINITY (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED stands behind every paid Deliverable we produce. If, within 30 days of receiving your output, you identify a specific claim that is factually incorrect or unsupported by the evidence cited and material to the verdict or recommendation given (i.e. a reasonable reader would weigh the conclusion differently without it — not a stray footnote or cosmetic error), you are entitled to a full refund of the fee paid for that Deliverable. The refund is capped at the fee actually paid for that Deliverable; it is not a source of consequential or expectation damages.
Cure first: before a refund is issued, we get one chance to correct the specific claim and re-issue the affected section within 72 hours. If the correction resolves the issue, no refund is due; if it doesn't (or we can't produce one), the full refund proceeds as above.
This guarantee applies to all paid service tiers:
- Pro (£149) — Idea Validation reports
- PLV Audit (£499) — Pre-Launch Verification reports
- Blueprint reports (all tiers)
- Outcome Engineering advisory outputs
Free-tier outputs (Pulse, Free Teardown) are provided at no charge and are therefore not subject to monetary refunds. Factual disputes on free outputs will be reviewed and corrected as a goodwill gesture.
How to claim a refund
Email om@thrivefinity.uk with the subject line “Refund Request — [your order reference]”.
In your email, identify the specific claim you dispute and provide the counter-evidence or source that contradicts it.
We will review your claim within 2 business days and confirm whether a refund is due.
Approved refunds are processed within 5 business days via the original payment method (Razorpay).
Processing time
Refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5 business days of approval. Razorpay’s standard processing time applies (typically 5–10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or card issuer).
Partial refunds
For partially completed paid engagements where work has been delivered in phases, partial refunds may be available for completed phases that contain unsupported claims, calculated on a pro-rata basis. Please contact us to discuss your specific situation.
Worked example
The steps above are easier to trust when you can see them run in sequence. Here is one common refund trigger, walked through end-to-end against the policy stated on this page.
Illustrative example — not a real refund case
Startup A (a hypothetical Pre-Launch Verification client, referred to here as “Founder X”) pays £499 for a PLV Audit. The delivered report cites a regulatory rule as grounds for one of its adversarial rebuttals. Founder X checks the regulation directly and finds the report describes it incorrectly—and the correct reading would soften that rebuttal, changing the report’s overall recommendation.
- Day 3 — Claim filed: Founder X emails om@thrivefinity.uk with subject “Refund Request — [order reference],” quoting the disputed rule and linking the primary regulatory source that contradicts it.
- Day 5 — Reviewed: Within 2 business days, ThriveFinity confirms the claim is material—correcting it would reasonably change the recommendation—so it qualifies under the guarantee rather than the exclusion for non-material corrections.
- Day 5–8 — Cure first: Per the cure-first clause, ThriveFinity gets one attempt to correct the specific claim and re-issue the affected section within 72 hours. In this scenario, the correction changes the rebuttal enough that it can’t be salvaged as a minor edit—the cure doesn’t resolve the issue.
- Day 8 — Refund approved: Because the cure didn’t resolve it, the full £499 fee is approved for refund—capped at the fee actually paid for that Deliverable, per the guarantee terms above.
- Day 8–13 — Processed: The refund is returned to Founder X’s original Razorpay payment method within 5 business days of approval, with Razorpay’s own standard settlement time applying on top before it appears on the statement.
Outcome: total time from claim to refund approval, seven working days— well inside the timelines stated above. The disputed claim and its resolution would be reflected, anonymised, in the next monthly refund count published in Friday Notes, per the transparency commitment below.
Exclusions
The 30-day refund guarantee does not apply in the following circumstances:
- The intake brief submitted by the Client contained materially false, misleading, or incomplete information that affected the accuracy of the Deliverable.
- The output has already been published publicly by the Client in a manner intended to exploit the refund guarantee.
- The claim in dispute relates to a forward-looking projection, verdict, or professional opinion, rather than a factual assertion backed by cited evidence — professional judgements are not guaranteed to be accurate predictions of future events.
- The disputed claim is not material to the verdict or recommendation given — i.e. correcting it would not reasonably change the conclusion (see the "cure first" process above for non-material corrections).
- For Pulse (free tier): no monetary refund is available as no payment is taken.
- The refund request is made more than 30 days after the Deliverable was delivered.
Transparency commitment
ThriveFinity publishes a monthly refund count in Friday Notes — our weekly signal to founders. This count includes the number of refund requests received, approved, and declined in the prior month, with anonymised summaries of the disputed claims. This transparency commitment is part of our accountability model.
